2-Methyl-3-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)propanal Uses
Neohexymol is a synthetic fragrance with floral, green, aldehyde and ozone-like aromas. It can be used to blend almost all floral aromas such as cyclamen, jasmine, lily of the valley, lilac, rose, etc. Neohexymol is a commonly used fragrance raw material in marine fragrances, with a fresh and natural marine scent. Because of its larger molecules and longer lasting fragrance, it is one of the rare varieties of synthetic fragrances with a very "long" lasting fragrance. It is an indispensable ingredient in international brand perfumes. The brand perfumes that have emerged in the past decade or so all have the scent of Neohexymol to a greater or lesser extent. In addition, it is also used to blend floral daily fragrances such as rabbit ear grass flowers and lilac.
