Molecular formula and structure
Molecular formula: C₂₂H₁₉Cl₂NO₃
Molecular weight: 416.3 g/mol
Structure: It contains cyclopropane carboxylate ester groups, cyano groups and phenoxy benzyl groups, and belongs to pyrethroid insecticides.
Appearance: White to cream-colored crystals or yellowish-brown viscous liquid (industrial product), stable under light, decomposes in strong alkali.
Cypermethrin (CAS 67375-30-8), as a core variety of highly active insecticides, its core value lies in:
Irreplaceable insecticidal efficacy: The virulence of the highly efficient isomer (α -form) is twice that of the common cypermethrin, and the persistence period is extended by 50%.
Process environmental protection upgrade: Alkane solvent substitution technology reduces wastewater emissions by 60%, promoting green production.
Policy protection dividends: Anti-dumping duties safeguard domestic production capacity, and China's market share is expected to exceed 40% by 2025.
1. Agricultural pest control
Recommended dosage application method and duration of effect for target pests
Cotton aphids/thrips: 4.5% emulsifiable concentrate 30-50 ml per mu, leaf spray (40-50 L water) for 7-10 days.
Cotton bollworm: 4.5% emulsifiable concentrate 30-50ml per mu. Spray during the peak hatching period of eggs for 10-14 days.
Diamonth moth: 20-40 ml of 4.5% emulsifiable concentrate per mu. Spray at the 2nd to 3rd instar stage of the larvae for 7 days.
Citrus leaf miner: Spray 4.5% emulsifiable concentrate at a dilution of 2,250 to 3,000 times during the new shoot stage for 14 days.
2. Control of sanitary pests
Mosquitoes and flies: 0.2-0.4g/m² wettable powder for residual spraying, with a feathering inhibition rate of over 90%.
Cockroaches: The habitat was treated with 0.9g/m² wettable powder, and the knockdown rate was over 85% within 48 hours.
Mammalian toxicity
Acute oral LD₅₀ : 649 mg/kg in rats (moderately toxic).
Irritation: Moderate irritation to rabbit eyes and skin. Protective equipment must be worn during operation.
Environmental risk
Aquatic organisms: Highly toxic to fish (LC₅₀ < 0.1 mg/L), prohibited in areas near water sources.
Non-target organisms: Highly toxic to bees (LD₅₀ 0.001 μg/ bee) and silkworms. Prohibited for use during the flowering period of nectar crops and in mulberry gardens.
