1. Lubricating grease industry (core application):


Grease thickener/structural stabilizer: This is its most important application. Aluminum distearate is a key component in the manufacture of composite aluminum-based grease.

It is compounded with fatty acid aluminum soap (such as aluminum monostearate) or other components to form a stable soap fiber structure in the base oil (such as mineral oil, synthetic oil), giving the grease the required consistency, mechanical stability and water resistance.

The prepared composite aluminum-based grease has excellent water resistance, good pumpability, high dropping point (high temperature resistance), colloidal stability and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in steel mill roller bearings, water pumps, ship machinery, papermaking machinery and other humid, high temperature or good sealing conditions.


2. Coatings, inks and pigments industry:


Anti-settling agent/suspending agent: In solvent-based coatings and inks, it prevents pigments (such as titanium dioxide, carbon black) and fillers from settling and agglomerating during storage, and keeps the system uniform and stable.

Thickener/thixotropic agent:

Increase the viscosity of coatings and inks and give them thixotropy: During construction (brushing, spraying), the viscosity is reduced by shear force, which is convenient for leveling; after construction, the viscosity is restored to prevent sagging and dripping, which is particularly suitable for vertical surface construction and thick paste coatings.

Improve the printing suitability of inks (transferability, anti-splashing).

Matting agent/flatting agent (auxiliary effect): By controlling the gel structure to affect the light scattering on the surface of the paint film, it can help reduce the gloss to a certain extent.

Emulsifier stabilizer (secondary function): In W/O (water-in-oil) emulsions, it can help stabilize the emulsion structure.

Opaquer/pearlizer (specific products): It can produce pearlescent or milky effects in specific formulas.

Waterproof/antiperspirant: Used in products such as antiperspirant sticks to enhance film formation and durability on the skin.


4. Plastics and rubber industry:


Lubricant/release agent: Used as an internal or external lubricant in the processing of plastics (such as PVC, polyolefins) to reduce the friction between the melt and the equipment, improve fluidity, prevent sticking to the roller and mold, and facilitate demolding.
