N-DECYL ACETATE Uses

Decyl Acetate is a synthetic ester fragrance with the chemical formula CH₃COO(CH₂)₉CH₃, which is obtained by the esterification reaction of acetic acid and decanol. Its aroma is characterized by a fresh citrus fruity aroma, slightly floral and sweet, with a medium fragrance and good stability. Due to its mild aroma and good solubility, it is widely used in many fields.

I. Daily Chemicals and Personal Care

Fragrance and Fragrance Ingredients

Perfume and Cologne: As a top or middle note fragrance, it is often used to prepare citrus and floral fragrances (such as lemon, orange blossom, and jasmine fragrances), giving a fresh and bright fragrance layer.

Skin Care Products and Shower Gel: Add to lotions, moisturizers, and shower gels to provide a light fruity fragrance and enhance the use experience (the concentration is usually 0.01%-0.5%).

Shampoo and Hair Care Products: Compound with mint or tea tree oil to enhance the refreshing feeling after cleaning while masking the odor of chemical ingredients.

Soap and home fragrance

Used in handmade soap, scented candles, diffuser stones, etc., to release a lasting citrus aroma.

Edible flavor additives

Beverages: Mix orange, lemon, grapefruit and other fruit-flavored beverages (such as juice, carbonated drinks, tea drinks) to enhance the natural fruit flavor.
