Preparation
After the C12-C18 heavy liquid paraffin was dehydrated using fuming sulfuric acid, it was metered and introduced into sulfur dioxide and chlorine gas for sulfonic acid chlorination. The reaction was carried out under light. The reaction temperature was around 30℃, and the conversion rate was about 50%. After removing the residual hydrogen chloride from the product, it was esterified with phenol in the presence of sodium hydroxide at a temperature of approximately 50℃. The ester was separated from the water layer by static settling and then extracted with 20% sodium hydroxide at about 70℃. Then, the unreacted alkanes were removed by passing hot steam under reduced pressure distillation. The bottom temperature of the tower was 190℃-210℃, and the vacuum degree was not less than 0.085 MPa. The crude ester was de-colored with sodium hypochlorite, washed with water, vacuum-dried, and filtered, and the finished product was obtained.
