What is Potassium silicate CAS1312-76-1?

The potassium silicate melting method involves mixing silica sand and caustic potassium in a certain proportion and then adding them to a melting furnace. The mixture is heated using heavy oil or electricity to a temperature range of 1200 to 1400 degrees Celsius. When a completely molten transparent substance is formed, it is released from the furnace and cooled and solidified. Then, it is placed in a high-pressure reactor, and pressurized steam (0.2 MPa) is added for dissolution. The solution is left to stand and clarify, impurities are removed, and the clarified liquid is concentrated to obtain the finished potassium silicate product.
