Synthetic method:
Propyl trichlorosilane (CAS 141-57-1) is prepared by reacting silver acetate (CAS 563-63-3) or glacial acetic acid
Upstream raw materials: propyltrichlorosilane, acetic anhydride, glacial acetic acid, etc.
Downstream applications: Industrial products such as silicone rubber, sealants, and optical coatings.
Crosslinking agent
● It is used for room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber (RTV) and acidic silicone sealant, replacing methyltriacetoxysilane with a higher crystallization point to enhance low-temperature applicability.
